Hi friends - Thank you for subscribing to my new pattern release emails. For all you quilters out there, here are TWO free quilt patterns I think you are going to love. The Roundabout Quilt - Simple Strip Block QuiltMy favorite is the strip block quilt because I used a new sewing technique called Y seams and it's a lot of fun. I named it the Roundabout Quilt because the strip sets go around the center block. The colors scream spring time in pinks, greens and brown. This quilt finishes at 81" x 81" and was made with spring time colors from my fabric stash. Simple sewing makes this quilt a joy to make. Block come together fast using the Y seam technique. Click on photo below to take you to the free pattern. Rose's Quilt - Classic Bow Tie QuiltThe second is a bow tie quilt and it's named after my dog, Rose's Quilt. If you are a dog lover but don't love all the pet hair or their nails digging into your leather car seats, this is the perfect size throw for your back seat. I also entered this in the quilt competition at my local fair a few years ago. If you quilt and have never entered your local fair's quilt competition, I highly recommend it. You have nothing to lose and it's fun to get feedback on your quilt and see what everyone else has made. This quilt finishes at 66" x741" and is a scrap buster using 2.5" and 1.5" squares.
